What is your dream holiday destination?
My dream holiday destination is to go to Atlantis. We go to Las Vegas every January and we watch the Travel Channel prior to our trip to get ideas of where we might want to go while we are out there ... last year we saw a special on Atlantis and it just looks so beautiful that my husband and I decided that we want to go there in the near future.
Do you have any special hobbies?
Golfing.
Do you have any advice for your fellow players?
My first grade teacher always told me 'You can ... if you say I can, instead of I can't, then you CAN achieve anything.' Her words have always stuck in my mind throughout my life ... I have never forgot them.
What else would you like to share with your fellow players?
I am 45 years old and happily married. My husband and I own and operate two small corporations ... one is a concrete finishing company and the other is a property management, i.e., we buy different properties, fix them up and then rent them out ... this is our retirement plan since we are self-employed and don't plan on finishing concrete for the rest of our lives. The jackpot that I won, $9,228.51, will pay off a family vacation that we recently charged on our credit card ... however, when I win the next one, we will be able to retire!
