Microgaming Raises The Stakes In Online Gaming With The Launch Of Its New 'Minimum Download' Software.
Size does matter. Particularly when you are thinking of downloading a file from the Internet. Users do not like to download large files. This simple fact deters many people from trying an online casino for the first time and severely limits the amount of games that an Internet casino can offer.
Now this problem has been solved with Microgaming's new 'Minimum Download' software entitled MUP+ (Microgaming Upgrade Protocol). This revolutionary software lets a player download a very small initial file with a minimum of games. Then while a user is playing, the rest of the casino games are downloaded automatically in the background. This means that online players have access to a huge range of games with the least bother.
A casino operator no longer needs to rely on the player to request additional games and then wait for them to download. MUP+ even gives the operator the ability to push selected games down to the players. The player logs onto the casino and the games download automatically.
