Italian Player Lorenzo Savallo Wins In Titan Poker's ECOOP III European Championship With $4.15 Million Prize Pool.

After a sensational opening night, the European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP III), the largest online tournament series currently taking the Internet poker world by storm, shows no sign of slowing down. The turnout at Tuesday night's $100,000 Guaranteed Prize tournament far exceeded expectation, increasing the prize pool offering to $106,600. In total, 533 players were glued to their seats for the second ECOOP Event, but it was talented Italian Titan Poker player, Lorenzo Savallo, who stole the show with his skilful victory at the tables triumphing over the 500 other contenders also vying for a slice of ECOOP's total $4.15 million prize offerings.

The 35 year old Silver VIP player from Italy took home a total of $24,518 and the prestigious ECOOP III bracelet after winning the first place in the second ECOOP III event. The new ECOOP winner had been with Titan Poker for just 6 months before his astounding first place victory, which he claimed after registering that same morning before the Titan Poker tournament.

Poker players still have ample time to join the action now that this year's ECOOP series has been extended to fourteen days till December 7th. A record prize total of $4.15 million is guaranteed at the fourteen nightly events, culminating in the $1,500,000 Guaranteed Prize Main Event to be held on December 7th, 2008.
