'What Just Happened?' Asked Janet C. After She Won $19,693.78 WowPot Progressive Jackpot.
Janet C. won her third progressive jackpot of $19,693.78 playing WowPot slot machine on March 13, 2005 at Aces High Casino. She also won $28,288.90 on WowPot on February 13, 2005 at Vegas Villa Casino, as well as $122,776.45 on Cash Splash on July 8, 2003 at 7 Sultans online casino. Here is what she said about her recent win:
What was your initial reaction when you hit the jackpot?
I was watching TV. I looked back at my screen trying to figure out what was wrong. I was so used to seeing the message 'Another player won the jackpot', that I didn't realize it was me! I was still looking through the message to see the slot trying to figure out why I didn't hear the clapping sound I get when I win the small amounts. I was dumbstruck. I just kept staring at the screen.
How will you spend your winnings?
Bills, bills and more bills. It was fun though. I'm buying a friend a new computer and a new washer and dryer for myself. The rest, well, will still go to play the slots. I love them.
How long has it been since you won your last jackpot?
It was less than a month since I won Wowpot at Vegas Villa and now at Aces High. One payout was $28,000 and one for $19,000. What a lucky person I am!
What keeps you coming back?
I love the slots. I come back for the challenge and for the fun. I love the progressives.
Has your previous win influenced your life in any way?
My first win was over $120,000 about 18 months ago at 7 Sultans. I've won several $5,000 and $3,500 hits since but nothing like this - two in one month!
Will you spend your money differently this time?
I hope so. I need to collect all the retirement funds I can since I lost all of the IRA along with everyone else.
Did you do anything different to win this time?
I sometimes play in the morning and sometimes in the evening. I win at all times. My computer is the one I bought with my first win. My first win was dumb luck because my old computer would crash with almost every spin. I did play at a different casino this time. I don't have any good luck charms, but my hand itches when I'm going to receive money. Sometimes it is only a rebate check, sometimes a jackpot.
Is there anything else you would like to tell us about yourself?
I'm a retired accountant. I live in a 100 year old farm house that must have lots of stories to tell. I have three sons and four grandchildren, who all live quite a way from here. It is too bad that the young have to go where the money is. I would surely like to see my grandchildren more often. I keep myself busy with helping out a friend with his business. I am writing ebooks and hope to have a web page soon.
