POKER PRO Magazine Doubles Circulation and Adds Expert Staff.

(Las Vegas, Nevada) - Poker Pro Magazine announced today that it must double the press run of its second issue to satisfy overwhelming demand. More than 100,000 copies of the September / October cover-dated edition will hit the street on August 23rd. Prominent US and Canadian retailers such as 7-Eleven, K-Mart, WalMart, CVS, Albertson's, Publix, Circle K, and Krogers have enthusiastically jumped on the bandwagon of this hot new magazine.

"The accolades we've received from readers and retailers as a result of our premiere issue have been very gratifying," said Publisher Dan Jacobs. "There is a huge demand for quality poker coverage and that is just what POKER PRO provides."

POKER PRO's full-color, glossy publication offers detailed and entertaining features and pictures that depict the large array of players and personalities in the poker world. Coverage ranges from in-depth interviews to how-to articles that help it's readers better their game. The publication also takes pride in the detailed and expert coverage of national and international poker tournaments.

The upcoming issue offers profile pieces on Phil Hellmuth, David Williams, Phil Gordon, Layne Flack and Greg Raymer. It will also include exclusive reporting from the 2005 World Series of Poker and a wrap-up of the action from renowned poker expert and author Lou Krieger who joins POKER PRO as Guest Editor-in-Chief.

Krieger is the best-selling author of seven poker books including Poker for Dummies and The Poker Player's Bible. He is also the spokesperson for Royal Vegas Poker and author of several popular poker books and over 400 columns in Card Player and other magazines.

"We're very lucky to have Lou as part of our team," said Will Jordon, VP of Sales & Marketing. "The solid knowledge of the game and industry Lou brings with him and his ideas for making POKER PRO the best resource for all poker players is an unbeatable asset for the magazine."

Bringing invaluable skills and talent, Cynthia MacGregor is POKER PRO's new Managing Editor. She has more than 20 years of editing experience and 50 published books to her credit.

"Cynthia's an expert wordsmith and editor," said Jacobs. "She is a multitasker, a people person and an all-around awesome team member; we welcome her aboard!"

In January, POKER PRO will boost its presence, yet again, by becoming a monthly publication. "We're not bluffing. We're holding all aces," said Jordan, not even trying to keep a poker face.
